JOURNEY SOUTH RELEASE NEW VERSION OF WHAT I LOVE ABOUT HOME IN COLLABORATION WITH HELP FOR HEROES

Journey South have rewritten their heartfelt song 'What I Love About Home' for all the troops currently serving in the armed forces, their families, and their supporters.

This song is being released in collaboration with Help For Heroes, with all profits being donated to the charity.

The single is being finished on 8th November in Stockholm, Sweden with the legendary Carl Falk and Didrik Thott - who initially wrote the song with Andy and Carl.

'What I Love About Home : Help For Heroes' will be available to download from midnight on Sunday 13th December.

Writing for album number 3!

Journey South are currently finishing writing their third studio album.

The album will consist of 12 tracks, all penned by Andy and Carl.

This album is set to be their best yet, showcasing their fantastic vocals, and amazing songwriting talents.

'What I Love About Home' voted 8th best song of 2008 in South Africa!

'What I Love About Home', written by Andy and Carl when they were homesick in Sweden, has been voted 8th best song of 2008 in South Africa. This is an amazing achievement for the guys, whose own song was above Leona Lewis Bleeding Love (number 11), Shayne Ward Breathless (number 20), Katy Perry I Kissed A Girl (number 34), Rihanna Take A Bow (number 56) and Adele Chasing Pavements (number 85)!

Reconcile our Love number 1 for the 3rd week in South Africa!

We have just had the news that 'Reconcile Our Love' is at number 1 for the third week in South Africa! This is great news and JS have kept the likes of James Morrison and Nelly Furtado from hitting the top spot!

South Africa support going from strength to strength

Following the release of the second single in South Africa, 'Reconcile Our Love' has now followed in the footsteps of the first single 'What I Love About Home' and reached the number one spot across all radio stations in the country. Andy and Carl are thrilled with the progress here and are very proud that the songs they have written are getting recognised in other parts of the world too.

After their huge success in the UK, Journey South took a hybrid of their first and second albums to South Africa.

It has done fantastically well there, with the album flying off the shelves and their first single 'What I Love About Home' going to number one.
